Pfizer (retired) and Vice-Chair of the Board
Peter Stevenson retired from Pfizer in June 2019 after a long career with diverse operational and international experience.
Pete ran a variety of businesses ranging up to $ 800 million in sales revenue with full P/L accountability and responsibility for the strategy, sales, marketing and technical service teams.
He has solid, hands on experience in leading complex manufacturing operations including production sites on the US mainland, Puerto Rico, Europe, South America and Asia. He had responsibility for 11 sites, 6,000 employees and $ 3 billion in assets. Operational experience also included managing $ 4 billion in manufacturing procurement and contract manufacturing spend.
International experience includes a three year expatriate assignment in France. Pete also served on the board of directors for JV partners in Thailand, India and Pakistan.
Pete has experience in forging business, technical and manufacturing partnerships in public health. For example, the family planning partnership between Pfizer, the Gates Foundation, and Children’s Investment Fund Foundation to manufacture Pfizer’s Sayana product line on an industrial scale with lower unit costs.
