Uniting to Combat NTDs was established following the signing of the London Declaration on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in 2012, when a diverse group of stakeholders came together with one objective: beating NTDs. Today, this partnership has grown but continues to consist of academic and research organisations, governments, non-governmental organisations, pharmaceutical companies and philanthropic foundations.

As the fight to beat NTDs has progressed, Uniting to Combat NTDs’ partner network has developed and evolved into a new structure; one which aims to support the targets in the World Health Organization’s (WHO) road map, Ending the neglect to attain the Sustainable Development Goals: A road map for neglected tropical diseases 2021-2030).

To support this evolution, in 2020 the Uniting to Combat NTDs’ secretariat consulted with over 50 individuals and organisations to produce a new organisational strategy. This strategy has been approved by both Uniting to Combat NTDs’ consultative forum and board.

You can read and download a copy of the executive summary of this strategy below.
