Reaching the Last Mile (RLM)

Under the stewardship of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, Reaching the Last Mile is committed to ending preventable diseases that affect the world’s poorest and most vulnerable communities and helping millions of children and adults live healthy, dignified lives.

Their approach involves long term commitments, focusing on areas where they can have maximum impact, prompt others to act, or chart a new path. To catalyze faster change, the approach across the portfolio incorporates active partnership, innovative financing, and the development of new areas of expertise.

Together with international partners, they support programs that work to end some of the world’s most deadly and debilitating diseases, including polio, Guinea worm disease, lymphatic filariasis, river blindness and malaria.
