The SBDN stands as the premier platform for Neglected Diseases (NDs) discussions in Brazil, encompassing the largest gathering dedicated to this critical field.
Its fundamental premise revolves around extending conversations and scientific advancements beyond the confines of academia. The event uniquely spotlights topics relevant to health professionals in its meticulously curated programming, seamlessly integrating science, practical applications, and scientific dissemination.
In the year 2024, the organization of SBDN, led by the Federal University of Lavras, collaborates with esteemed partners including the Federal University Vales do Jequitinhonha and Mucuri, Instituto René Rachou (FIOCRUZ), CDC, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro, and Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia.
Together, they present the V SBDN, centering on reflections compelled by the COVID-19 pandemic, and concurrently, the I World Symposium on Neglected Diseases. This landmark event aspires to transcend boundaries, fostering global dialogues and scientific breakthroughs in the realm of Neglected Diseases.
The event is in-person and will take place at the Federal University of Lavras. An unparalleled opportunity to expand collaboration networks, meet new researchers, and discuss science with decision-makers at the municipal, state, and federal levels, as representatives from the Ministry of Health and important scientific societies, research institutes, and universities will be with us.
To expand the discussions beyond Brazilian borders, participants from other countries registered for the event may receive an individual link to watch the lectures online.
