Beci is a Senior Communications Manager at Uniting to Combat NTDs. She was seconded from Sightsavers to Uniting at the end of 2024 to support their World NTD Day campaign, and taken on more permanently in early 2025.

Beci brings with her a wealth of strategic communications knowledge and experience. At Sightsavers, she led a team of communications professionals to both together, and personally deliver multiple effective large-scale NTD communications campaigns. For example, Beci headed up the consortium communications for The Ascend Programme - Sightsavers’ largest multiple NTD programme at that point - as well as successfully highlighting the programme's shift towards COVID-19 response, and later developing crisis communications and social, once the programme was forced to close due to aid cuts.

Beci prides herself on her ability to foster strategic and fruitful partner and stakeholder relationships, and was especially pleased when her work with Virgin Unite culminated in direct support from Richard Branson.

Prior to her time at Sightsavers, Beci has gained experience in public relations, as a radio show host and a travel writer.
