Lukenia Lisboa

Technical and Partnerships Associate

Lukenia Lisboa is a Technical and Partnerships Associate seconded to the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) through a collaborative consultancy with Uniting to Combat Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Based in Johannesburg, she supports the coordination and implementation of the AUDA-NEPAD and Uniting partnership, with a focus on the delivery of a joint three-year action plan funded by the African Development Bank.

Lukenia brings strong NTD and project-management skills, with experience in programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and health systems strengthening across Member States. Her work includes supporting infrastructure and capacity development, facilitating cross-sector partnerships, and contributing to strategic advocacy and resource mobilisation efforts aimed at eliminating NTDs.

She holds a BTech in Internal Auditing from Cape Peninsula University of Technology and has received certification in Health Financing Policy for Universal Health Coverage. Originally from Angola, she is fluent in both English and Portuguese and brings a strong commitment to human capital development across Africa.
